Won-Buddhism Scout was founded in 1975 to recognize all scouts who practice Won-Buddhism. Won-Buddhism scouting activities first began in Jeju Island in Korea in 1985 under the guidance of Rev.Duk Young Kim. Since then, Won-Buddhism Scout programs have been actively developed, integrating the spirit of Scouting and Won-Buddhism teaching; thus, bringing Korean and eastern culture to the world events.
